This article connects to things we learned about this year like Brown v board of education. Just like people are trying give kids in Peru laptops so they can have a better education the same education as kids in the city, Thurgood Marshall was also trying to give black kids the same education as white kids.

The articles on laptops connect to many things we have studied this year and last year, like the projects Mexico and Africa all suffer from poverty just like Peru. laptops have a very big change on them to better education and better learning.

The article about laptops relates to the Civil Rights Movement in similar ways. In Peru they were treated differently because they were in poverty. In the Civil Rights Movement many people were treated horribly by the color of their skin. Peru's children couldn't learn and it was not their fault. They didn't choose to be poor it's something that just happened. Just like in the Civil Rights Movement they did not have a say to what color they wanted to be it just occurred. Both topics are related because both were being treated differently based on their own lives.

Laptops for change relates to us first using our the laptops and using them to our advantages. In less richer places like Peru they are trying to do something fun but still educational with children. By purchasing 272,000 laptops and spreading them out over 9,000 school giving more children more chances to expand on their learning.

The Laptops for Change and the American Revolution/Civil Rights Movement connects to each because its about people making a difference to try and change the world. The war was to make a change and the laptops are also to make a change in people lives.

These topics are related by helping one another to make change. The Civil Rights Movement has help the black people with their equal rights, by protesting. The laptops in Peru has helped the children with their education. When they use the laptops, they will have good experiences in their lives.

The Civil Rights Movement and the lap top for kids are alike because they both made change. The lap top for kids are alike with the Civil Rights Movement because they needed their education to be improve, and they way they were treated. To help with this change, the people that was involved with the Civil Rights Movement did boycotts until their demands were met. The XO laptops improve the kids education no matter what surrounding's they were in.

I connect the Computers For kids with the American Revolution and Civil Rights Movement because they all had to over come obstacles to get the things they wanted and get the things they needed. The kids from peru needed laptops to help them do their work differently for a change. The American Revoloution was similar because with the Boston Tea party happening they had to fight for their say in whether or not they get taxed more than they bargaind for or had say in. The Civil Rights Movement was similar because Rosa parks and Dr. Martin Luther King had to fight for their say in their surroundings. They had to fight for blacks to have the same rights as whites. All events had to make a change from what they were used to.

The similarity between the article from Kidbiz3000- Computers for Kids and the (American Revolution/Civil Rights Movement) is that all three topics were making a change. Peru is trying to make a change with their education for the children by using laptops in many different ways. The(American Revolution/Civil Rights Movement)mad important changes that effected everyones life and how they lived.

This article connects to things we learned about like when slaves where traded for profit. These kids are trading nothing for something. Like the slaves did, the kids of that country will adapt to the new life style that they have. Like each other they will grow and grow until they exceed the highest point and become the one who shows and teaches the person who taught or tamed them.

I think the whole laptop idea is great! This year I have learned a lot by using my lap top. I learned about the Civil Rights Movement. I was able to look at pictures and add them to my project. I was able watch video clips. The Laptop Movement reminds me of Brown v.s Bored Of Education because Peru is reaching out to schools trying to help kids all over the world get the same education.

This article connects to many topics that we have learned through out this year but this mostly connects to the civil rights movement. In the civil rights movement their were many people and kids given opportunities to make a better of their life and were able to get the same chance as any white person. In this article the kids were given a chance to explore beyond their learning with lap tops and make their learning more easier and fun. They were given an opportunity to make something out of their life and eduacation even if they are living in poverty.

I would connect the American Revolution to the people in Peru because in the revolution they have fought and also protested for a lot of things. Now that were in the year of 2008 there are still protesters but the people want something big. Trade, Is what most people in the world want to do. Now that we have computer people trade things using that they go through. They use eBay, thats a website where people trade. Way back it was all about trading people and goods, now its all about making the money.
People who lived in slavery and who went through poverty is a shame laptops should have been created.

The laptops for a change and the civil rights movement are the same because they all have to do with making a change. When Martin Luther King Jr said in one of his speeches, he was trying to make the withe and the black come together and that was making a change. The laptops are making a change by helping other kids learn how to use a laptop and to learn things that we know.

The article that we just read about laptops connects to alot of things we learned about this year. an example, in the article they talked about poverty. During the Civil Rights Movement they were using technology to try to get out of poverty and protest to get what they deserve, equality. Most of all they didn't fight cause they knew they can't win when it comes to war. That was a smart move, during American Revolution the British and the America was fight for Freedom. America wanted freedom, they got tired of the British bossing them around then one day took over, went to war and won.

It would connect to the civil rights movement because in the civil rights movement they wanted to give black and white equal rights. How it connect to the laptop because the reason why they gave these little kids these laptops because they want these kids to have a good education in the future.

This article connects to things we have done throughout the school year.Like the Civil Rights Movement many things were going on.Children did not have the prospect to expand their education because of segregation. All children and parents wanted a guaranteed chance to learn something new.The article about the laptops in Peru are giving a chance to those that are less opportune to get to expand their knowledge and better their lives.

This article connects to Brown vs Board Of education. The ONE LAPTOP is trying to give laptops to kids in Peru because they know that with the laptops the kids will learn more. They know that the kids who don't have it like everybody else deserve a good education to and in Brown Vs Board Of Education they tried to get black kids the same education as the whites .

The article connects to our civil rights because we fought for our rights. The little kids in Peru got the laptops because they thought they needed a better education. We fought for a better education as well so we can go to better schools and learn more. The kids in Peru needed a better education as well so they received laptops to help them learn efficiently.
